The ten-member Saxtet can truly be called a "little-big band."
This group features a full five-sax section, along with trumpet,
trombone, and rhythm section that delivers much of the flavor of
a true Big Band. The five saxes work well with the smaller brass
section to deliver a great sound from just ten musicians and a
featured vocalist. |
